Every patient walking in to the clinic is first consulted and diagnosed by the doctor who is a Centre Head. Since we work on a software which is accessible from anywhere, the patient’s history, diagnosis and X-rays are checked by the Clinical Head and then rechecked by the Head of Operations. YOUR FIRST DENTAL VISIT
The first dental visit should occur no later than 12 months of age. However, parents fail to give importance to primary dentition as they feel that they are temporary.
The first dental visit provides the dentist an opportunity to advise parents on prevention of oral diseases and also allows for early detection of carries and arrest of its progression. It also helps the dentist to detect early lesions , evaluate craniofacial and dental development, parents counselling, and even diet counselling.
On your first dental visit, you should also inform your dentist about your medical condition if any, as this helps the doctor to guide you properly for the dental issues and planning the dental procedures accordingly.
It is important for your dentist to know about following conditions :-
- Are you on any medication.
- Are you allergic to any medication.
- Are you on any kind of blood thinner or anti coagulant.
- Do you have any cardiac history.
- Do you have any lung disease.
- Do you have any kidney disorder.
- Any history of organ transplant.
- History of convulsions or seizures.
- Any history of hyper / hypo thyroidism.
- Pregnancy / breast feeding.
